Name: Sam B

Call sign: Cheese "Nip"

Age: 26

Years playing: 8

Primary marker: Tippmann A-5 / Azodin KP Pump

The scoop: I started playing at a school teambuilding event at a local indoor field. After my first game I bought a used marker from a friend and played a few more times indoors. After playing at another woodsball field, I had the opportunity to play at Field 51. I was hooked after the first match. My style is to play hard and fast but smart at the same time. Surrender is never an option for me… It’s just paint you sissies!!!

Name: Norman R

Call sign: Norboo

Age: 46 and aging.

Years playing: 9

Primary marker: Tippmann X7 and modded

Favorite Quote: I am a lost ball in the high weeds....

The scoop: It all began in a one room log cabin with a dirt floor.

OK the real scoop: I began playing paintball about nine years ago at a company outing. That was the start of my compulsive obsession with paintball. It started with two markers, grew to more then a dozen, which exploded into running a paintball field. I can’t get enough Woodsball play. Speedball and hyper-fields have never been an interest to me... but time change.

I’ve been lucky to find a great bunch of guys to form a team with, and we are all on the same page, make it fun, promote the sport, and ‘o ya have fun!

Name: Shawn Markham

Call sign: Looper

Age: Old but not the oldest… Yes, d**n it that is grey hair!

Years playing: 6 (as of 2008)

Primary marker: Air Gun Design’s Tac One

The scoop: Got my first new marker in college back in 1990, a Nelson 007, but never played much. I would have to blame Norm for getting me back into the sport and thus spending all my money on paintball. Classifying me as a Gun sleeper would not be an incorrect statement. I currently have quite an arsenal of markers as I like to take them apart and figure out how they tick. I also like to dissolve stuff in acid, weld metal together, work on computer, rebuild classic Mustangs and drink “Bombay & Tonics” by the pool… Oh, I almost forgot, go for long romantic walks on the beach at night with my recon group.

Name: Kyle Nowinski

Call sign: Sketchy

Age: 17

Years playing: 3

Primary marker: Smart Parts Ion

The scoop: I got into the sport 3 years ago thanks to a friend. I got my first marker on Christmas and went to play a few days later. Iʼve been hooked ever since. Yeah I started on an indoor speedball field, but that is what helped me get into the sport, and stay in the sport. My playing style is aggressive, I donʼt always make the right decisions, but Im always trying to move up. I guess I got that mind set from playing speedball... I also donʼt mind throwing ropes of paint down range to cover advancements for the team. I believe that working as a team is the only way to conquer any objective, but I also donʼt mind working alone, like a horse-fly that wonʼt leave you alone.

Name: Spencer G.

Call Sign: Hammer

Age:25

Years Playing:14+ woods-ball :P/ 8 years speed-ball

Primary Marker: Dye Matrix 7

The Scoop: Started playing in the woods with my friends and never looked back. Around 2003 had a home speed-ball field 15 minutes away and formed a team. Dominated the field with the team but it never went any farther. Started a team with a couple of buddies that went to college. Played a few local and out of state tourneys. Never won much but loved the competition. Stopped playing around 2007. Met some new guys around Bath and one of them, Corey, took me to field 51, opening that proverbial can of worms again!

Name: Corey J

Hes almost twenty now and I love this sport more now than ever.
